Done and dusted! What an amazing year it’s been for all of us @dulwichhillgourmetmeats. We wish all our customers, supporters and everyone a Happy New Year! We have so much gratitude for the support of the inner west community and all of you here in social media land. We really do love what we do! Signing off for 2017! We got a lovely surprise from a customer we haven’t seen in a long time, Su Mariani, who has been living in Italy the past few years. Love the look of her classic Italian veal dish here! Well, that’s it! Our last customer has picked up their Christmas order and we’ve packed it all up. What an amazing week it’s been! We’ve served countless people and had our biggest Christmas ever. A huge thank you to all our customers, old and new – it’s an honour to play a part in your holiday festivities. We always say we ❤️our customers and it’s 100 per cent true. A variety of ingredients that really bring out the flavours in this dish. It looks complicated because of the list of ingredients but is really easy to make and perfect for a family meal.
I’ve adapted this recipe from the Tupperware Ultrapro recipe book.
Here’s what I added and adjusted to make it gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, paleo and grain free:
-beef cheeks – from our favourite butcher @dulwichhillgourmetmeats
-olive oil
-onion
-celery
-carrots
-leek
-garlic
-fresh thyme
-bay leaves
-vanilla bean pod
-The Stock Merchant beef stock (all natural,no preservatives or sugars)
-sea salt and pepper
-I used cauliflower instead of parsnip
