Sunday = baking day! We’re a few weeks late, but since we were too busy at the shop on the weekend of Greek Easter to make flaounes, we decided to make them today. Never heard of a flaouna? It’s the traditional Cypriot cheese pastry made and eaten at Easter time. Ingredients include many types cheese, mint, mastic, egg, sesame and saffron.
